I do everything barefoot, even when the temperatures reach sub freezing like they did this week. I definitely was the recipient of loads of stares as I walked around town bundled up in a turtle neck and a warm jacket but without shoes. I finally started getting comments from people in town about my bare feet. A little old man at the grocery store looked me up and down and asked me, "Where are your shoes?" As I had just come from work, I told the truth and said they were in my bag. (Health code requires me to wear closed-toed and closed-back shoes to work. Lame!) I'm pretty sure he thought I was crazy. It didn't stop my barefooting though. I spent the whole day barefoot, even while I was at church!



I went barefoot to McDonalds too! I'm a little bit too addicted to Rolo MCFlurries.



Walking around all day, especially in the snow, got my feet pretty soaking wet, so they left cool patterns on my porch as I came in and out over the course of a few hours. My earlier footprints froze where I had stepped, and by the time I got back to the house and made more prints the sun had come out and melted the ice. It looked awesome.



I frolicked out to the mailbox to get the mail and made even more cool wet footprints when I came back.



It made me happy. :D
