A few people have asked, so here's the details of the breakup: For Boyfriend's 21st birthday, a bunch of his friends wanted to take him out to a bar and get him drunk. I know what he's like drunk, so was immediately opposed to it. Additionally, he had promised me back in June that he was going to stop drinking altogether. There was nothing I could do to stop him, though, so I just stood back and watched my world fall to pieces. Confessions came out about what and who he did over the weekend, and I did the only logical thing. I can't be with someone I can't trust to keep their promises. An STD test is currently pending.

In light of the situation, I took myself out on a date and I treated myself the way I wanted to be treated. I let myself be barefoot in the car.



Heck, I even let myself drive. No date has ever let me drive before, no matter how much I wanted to. Boyfriend always drove. He even drove my vehicle. My vehicle that he totaled. But the point is, I drove. Barefoot.



I'm generally opposed to dinner and a movie as a first date because it's really hard to get to know someone while eating and even more so during a movie, but this is hardly my first date with myself, and I really wanted to see the new Saw. Fake blood makes me laugh. So that's what I did. The guy taking my ticket was very amused by my bare feet and asked if he could take a picture.



Because I'm a good date, I even held my purse. Has anyone else ever lost their purse in a movie theatre? I always hook mine around my ankle now because I'm afraid I'll lose it again. And yes, that is a piece of flip flop sticking out of my purse. I had to stop in at my job while I was out and I'm not allowed to go in barefoot. Don't judge me. I like being employed.



After 89 straight minutes of blood and guts, I was understandably not hungry, so I went shopping. I needed new lotion, so I headed to Bath and Body Works. I'm in love with their Satsuma scent. Oh my gosh, it's amazing. And they were having a sale! I got free body butter, yayness! With new lotion in tow, I went to the art store to look for a chicken to give to my mom for Christmas. I found a 10" statue of a rooster sitting on a wagon wheel and knew she'd love it, so I bought it. Then I was hungry, so I went to my favorite restaurant from my childhood, The Old Spaghetti Factory. They're totally ok with me being barefoot.



I ordered steak and got drinks from the bar. I definitely recommend the cookie monster. Oh my heck, so delicious. It's similar to an Oreo milkshake, except it's so much better. They were so good that I got two.



And I left the hot waiter my number along with his tip. Now to wait and see if he actually calls.

It breaks my heart that there is a wonderful lady so keen to showcase her feet in public but no-one to photograph her. It is better when someone else takers you pictures, so we can see your pretty face and the environment and the context in which you are showing your feet (busy public places etc)

I love posting on here and I'm glad people enjoy my content! It wouldn't be much use to anyone if no one liked it.

I think I may have met a Someone. We traded foot massages tonight after watching Johnny Depp movies for 6 hours. And he brought me chocolate milk. Yeah. Not so sure about how he'd feel about taking pictures for me, but it's worth a shot.
